International student and financial aid.

As far as I know, an International students cannot get any need based scholarships from RPI right?

However, I heard that it is possible for an international student to get a merit based scholarship.

I am guessing if an international applicant is to get a merit based scholarship, he or she needs to meet new standards, one that is higher than standards for an acceptance.

To me, getting a merit based scholarship, not merely an acceptance is a green light of acceptance. That means to chance my acceptance (acceptance + merit scholarship) I need to compare my stats to some other international students who got some financial aid.

So, if there is any international student who got merit scholarship to RPI in here, please chance me for acceptance and merit scholar ship, in comparison to your stats. (or if you know anyone who is such case, please leave comment please)

my stats are here.
