International student applying to LPS's Uniconn

So I'm an International student from Venezuela, trying to apply to LPS's Unniconn. I want to take this 6 month course to see if I actually like the way of life at philly and also improve my SAT scores and try to get into a top college. Would you reccomend this University Connection course? How good are the accomodations? Do people party at this thing? All information is welcomed.

Thanks for your time.

Also, will I buy hanging out with students from UPENN or from the LPS program?

anyone help me out?

anyone at all?

Nobody has answered because nobody knows about this program. That should be your first clue.

I got curious and went to the Penn website. Finding this program was difficult. It’s part of the English Language programs, which work with a very small group and have no dealings with most Penn students. All of your classes would be in this program. You would get a Penn ID, which would give you access to some facilities (but not necessarily the gym). You couldn’t live in regular Penn dorms except during the summer, when most students are away. If you lived at International House, you would meet other international students and could participate in house activities. A homestay might be a terrific way to get to know a family, but it wouldn’t offer a typical student experience.

You might find a greater welcome and interest at a smaller school that hosts a lot of international students.
