-Junior counselor at the YMCA for a summer

-Youth director and translator at a church (the church is small and broke so i'm volunteering there by teaching the sunday school messages, translating for the preacher and teaching the kids korean school)
-Presented a summer fundraiser to a local nonprofit mission with t-shirts i specifically designed and ordered. I got a whole bunch of kids to participate in selling them and asking for pledges, and so in 2-3 months we've raised like $1000, and plan to continue fundraising little by little throughout the school year. The money goes to housing the homeless and helping those with immediate health needs</p>

<p>Awards:
-Got an award in mentoring for "Outstanding contributions" to the program
-Mentor of the Month award
-AP Scholar with Distinction Awards for maintaining 4.0 for freshman and sophomore year
-Scattered awards for debate up to JV - i slacked once i got to varsity and never debated nationally
-United Way: Gold Varsity Letter in Community Service (10th grade) and will be again this year
-My artworks were showcased at school at our annual art display (all three years) and also published in our lit mag</p>
