International student chances for NY colleges

What will be your major? IMHO, selecting or recommending schools, without knowing what you intended major is is rather myopic. What is the maximum amount that your parents can contribute to your college education on an annual basis (without loans)? Is it possible to live with your aunt for 4 years (rent free), while attending college in NYC? Eliminating your Room & Board cost will go a far way in minimizing your educational cost. The chance of you getting significant financial aid as an international student (with your stats), is quite low.

If you want to go to college in NYC, the CUNY 4-year colleges are your best low cost option (tuition only will be ~17K/yr; with R&B, COA ~$30K-$34K). If your major is engineering, look at CUNY-City College and for business, CUNY-Baruch/Brooklyn College/Queens College). I know many international students who attended one of these CUNY schools and eventually went back to their home country after graduation or went on to top graduate schools.

The schools on your list (or being recommended), without financial aid, will run you anywhere from $52K-$76K per year.
