International student CommonApp + ISFAA questions

Hi guys, I have some questions regarding the new common app:
What if I have more than 10 'current courses'? I'm an international and there are 18 obligatory senior courses in my school. Should I just fill out the ten available? Is there a place for the counselor to fill in all of them in the school report? I have no idea how this works
Also, my school doesn't have a counselor, and I know it says the principal can fill out my school report - but does it have to be the principal? Is it okay if my class teacher does it?

And about the International Student Financial Aid Application - is the new one out yet? I can't find it.

I have the same problem. I’m an international as well and I have about 12-14 obligatory courses every year. I’m also not sure what to put in ‘‘credits’’ because none of the courses is worth more than the other one.
And as you @teaobsessed, I’d rather my teacher filled in my school reports than the principal. So I’d be very grateful for any advice on this matter too :)

I know @karolin - I have the same problem with the credits.

Somebody help!

same problem here :s

I have the same problem! I am an international student as well and I took 12 obligatory courses during half of my senior year. During the other half I was an exchange student and took 5 courses each trimester. I really do not know what to do. Should I write only the courses I took at my regular school and don’t write the ones I took in America? If so, did any of you guys find out what to do with the “extra” credits?
I don’t understand why we have to write how many courses we took if this information is already provided on the transcript…
And @teaobsessed on the “education” section of the common app you are asked to provide your counselor’s info, so after you add colleges to your dashboard he/she will receive an email in which he/she is “invited” to you common app (at least that’s what I’ve been told). On your common app he/she will need to fill up some info (probably grades and school related) and also attach a recommendation letter. I don’t think you can put a teacher instead of your counselor or principal, because there already is a section of the common app for teachers. What you could do is put your principal and ask a teacher to help him with the process.
