All my forms are ready for the Dec 10 scholarship deadline except for my financial statement. My parents don't have enough funds in the bank right now but they will when the checks clear 2 weeks from now. Will USC still allow me to apply if I send this part of the application late?

I'm sure it will be fine, but I'd call and ask to be sure.

If your parents have a good relationship (or not) with their financial advisor, he/she may be able to consider your parents' careers and whatnot and and sign the form regardless of whether or not there is exactly $50,600 in their account at this exact second. A few cheques is not a big deal. I know this is what happened with my family. HTH!

You should be fine, at least for the International Freshman Academic scholarship:
"Submit a completed 2008 Undergraduate Application by Dec. 10, 2007. Submit all supporting documents, including proof of financial support, by Jan. 10, 2008. No additional application is required."
