Hey guys,
Can anyone help me to find out if I have a chance of being accepted to some schools I'm willing to apply?
I'm an international student from Brazil who wishes to study IR is some U.S. colleges like Georgetown, JH, Tufts, GW, AU, UChicago, William and Mary etc. Georgetown is my priority. I was an exchange student in NC in 2010 and have some of my grades while a soph in an american H.S. so you can take a look at it:
First semester - wasn't allowed by the principal to take most classes because she though I could not keep up with them. Also, I did not study at all, but payed attention to the classes because I respected my teachers, so my grades weren't THAT bad. Earth Sciences 88, Spanish 100, World History 84.
Second semester - was hosted by an inffluential family who set things up for me. Algebra II honors 89 (E.O.C. grade 4.0), Biology 99, Chemistry 97 and English II 98. My GPA was 3.57.
I know my grades weren't good at all and I was not on ''difficult'' classes, but you have to understand that I was not allowed to take any type of advanced classes, and at that time I didn't even though of going to college in the U.S.
Now that I am back in Brazil, I am a Junior in a very competitive private school. I get only A's and expect to continue like this until my graduation. I love studying and I will do everything I can to reach my goal.
I can't afford paying to any of those colleges, so I will need financial aid. I heard that if you get accepted and you can't pay the whole tuition fee, they will pay it for you. Is that true for all cases? Is there any colleges on that list that does not work like this?
I have not taken the SAT or TOEFL yet, but SAT does not seem that difficult to me - you wouldn't believe how insane brazilian college's admission tests are! I do volunteer work constantly and am a member of an Interact Club. I also participated on U.S. RYLA and will paticipate on Brazil's RYLA.It isn't much, but I am only beginning my junior year, which means that I have time to improve my weaknesses. What other things should I start doing to increase my chances of admission?

Sorry for all those answers and thank you for your help!
