International student looking to major in economics looking for advice

Hi guys. Im an international student who wants to attend a university in the US to major in Economics . I took the SAT for the first time (im taking it again in november) and got 760 M- 710 CR- but only my writing Score was only 580 . English is my 3rd language so is pretty hard for me to practice writing because most of the preparation to that section is about how natural does it sound, and with the reduced exposure that I have due to living in an Spanish speaking country is hard to practice. I know my other scores let me think in attending to a Top School so I was wondering if any top school in Economics doesnt care much about the writing section. I spend the last two years working for a NGO that provided food for native kids and recent mothers in Colombia due to financial hardship from my parents at the moment (It wasnt voluntary work, it actually paid the best of what I could find at the time). I ranked pretty high on the national examination leaving test in my country (top 100 between 500.000 students that took it and 1st in my state). My unweighted GPA must be around 4.2/5. I would need financial aid because my parents are only able to pay around 20 k a year. Attending a top school in the US is my dream and I know is a reach but dreaming is free (well.. its just $75 for the application fee to most schools)

I really apreciate your help advicing me about good colleges that provide finantial aid to international students, and that are within my reach.
