International Student Scholarship opportunities

As an international student looking for scholarship opportunities, I really don’t know what the college admission expects from me. I’ve heard a lot of cases when international students go to community colleges even though they were accepted to ivy league or other prestigious liberal arts colleges because of their financial situations.

Are scholarships even offered to international students in Dartmouth? What kind of grades/standardized test scores am I supposed to have (I’m currently a junior and I’m about to take the December ACT). I’m kind of freaking out because the acceptance rate for international students is pretty low compared to American-citizen students…I’m DYING to attend Dartmouth after my college visit there but my family’s not doing well financially…

Dartmouth is need-aware for international students (meaning that they do have the right to take into consideration your family’s financial situation) and as to what that may entail I suggest you check out the article I found below. Best of luck!

Well, it’s known that financial aid for international students is pretty limited at Dartmouth. However, there’s a special program designed for international applicants called “The King Scholars”. It’s a full ride, by the way. You can find the requirements and more info on the website: http://www.kingscholars.com/

Hope you find it useful
