I'm wondering if sending the SAT I reflects better on the application than sending the TOEFL? Also, is there some sort of a conversion between the two to look at?

Which would be better, a 2200 on the SAT or a 116 on the TOEFL?

No, the admissions office has no preference between two.

Both are good scores, and either would be fine. If you are unsure, just send both and let the admissions office decide which to use on your evaluation, as they will use the score they feel portrays you in the best light.

I know some1 with a 103 score at ibt who scored a 610 at the SAT CR…after he had done tons of prep.
International student to international student: take the TOEFL. It’s designed for people like us (who do not speak English as a first language)
& the adcoms obviously don’t have a preference… They just want to see a proof of English proficiency.

I scored a 114 on the toefl and a 2120 on the SAT. Im sending both, and retaking the sat :)
