International student who needs Financial aid

Hi! I’m an international student applying to USA for undergraduate studies. I have a 33 on my ACT, 800 in math II and a 730 in physics. Class 10 CGPA was 9.6/10 and I have a 92% predicted.
ECs:
I’m a musician and I’ve taken and passed with merit in exams by rockschool and trinity(grade 4 vocals and 2 guitar)
I’ve researched and campaigned to raise awareness about the snow leopard. I interned with WWF and worked on my Snoe Leopards project with them. I’ve been awarded the nature warrior post by WWF. I have attended and won multiple debates and Model UN conferences. I’m the vice captain of the school basketball team and the swimming team. I am the cultural secretary of my school and I am also the president of 4 clubs(science, music, cleanliness, heritage) in my school.

I intend to major in Econ.
I need some colleges which I can consider a ‘safety’ school and are liberal about financial aid to international students.
Thank you!

I do not believe that you will find these two qualities in the same school.

What is the “cleanliness club”?

Well, cleanliness club is pretty self explanatory. We carry out projects of cleaning the surrounding neighbourhoods. I know we should have a better name but that’s what our school named it.

The schools that provide lots of financial aid for internationals are all very very competitive. No safeties.

I agree with the above commenter. Safety shouldn’t be in our(needy international student) vocabulary. Focus on making the best and most unique application possible, make them want to invest in you. There are plenty of American kids with our stats. If a college sniffs out that you’re an international student needing aid, and that that college is supposedly your safety, your app most likely goes in the bin.

That’s not to say that we shouldn’t apply to plenty of colleges… We need to, but we also need to make every single application to those colleges unique and personalized, not generic. It’s a lot of work ahead of us, but hey, we’ll have some thing$ worry le$$ about, right? Hahah, good luck!

What are the safety schools in your country?

How much can you pay each year for 4 years?

How much do your parents earn per year?

Look for colleges with automatic scholarships (you meet the threshold) then competitive scholarships.
If your parents can afford room&board +books, I’d suggest Temple, UMiami Ohio, UAlabama Tuscaloosa (the flagship).
