What should I choose? Should I major in one thing and minor in the other? What jobs can I land with a Int. Studies major or Public Relation/Advertising and what are some of the firms that offer internships for the latter? Does Loyola U. in Chicago and Depaul have good programs? Can I get a job in the field of business with P.R./advertising and what type of jobs can I get?

I'm contemplating a double major in international studies. I know that it involves studying a lot of foreign history and current events, and of course, learning/perfecting a foreign language.

If you have a degree in international relations, you'll be able to get a career in which you have the opportunity to travel, or to correspond with clients from a foreign country whose language you've mastered in college. It's a good degree to have if you want a government job.

Unfortunately I know little about PR and advertising, so I can't help you there.

Loyola and DePaul are great universities for just about any field of study.
