<p>I've already read the description for international studies on the ucsd website, but can someone explain to me how the major is actually like? (is it fun? what do you exactly do?)</p>
<p>International studies at UCI is linked with many other social science majors, especially anthropology. I’ve taken two courses, and I really enjoyed them. I hear some of the professors are boring, but a lot of them have an interest in their fields which makes lectures interesting. Also, as a social science major, the professors often go outside of the curriculum and teach you a few extra things because they find it interesting. Overall, it’s a very easy major. It’s a very broad major so it encompasses many topics. Check out the courses listed in the catalogue to understand more.</p>
