International Supplement Question

Hi,

I'm sorry if this has been answered before.

Do you need to fill in the "TO THE SECONDARY SCHOOL COUNSELOR" part of the Common Application if you fill out the International Supplement? I'm wondering since they more or less ask the same thing...

Thanks.

wait, are you a student or a counselor?? the “TO THE SECONDARY SCHOOL COUNSELOR” part of the common app should be filled out by the counselor, as should the International Supplement (assuming you are international) - a student shouldn’t be filling out either of them…
They don’t ask the same stuff either, as teh prupose of the international supplement is simply to explain your education system and achieved/predicted grades, whereas the counselor rec is meant to provide something of a recommendation…

not true, you have to fill everything out (your counselor really should do the parts where it says “to the secondary school counselor”), even though they ask more or less the same. it is annoying, but there is no way around it.

You do not need to fill any part of the “TO THE SECONDARY SCHOOL COUNSELOR” section, because you are a student and not a counselor. You need to leave your counselor’s e-mail ID in the CommonApp student section so that an e-mail goes to your counselor and so that he can fill in.

^^^^^
True.

I think austriangirl was talking about filling in the supplement when you send it by mail. When you apply online, you don’t need to fill in anything for the ssr and such.

ok sorry, i really was thinking about sending it by mail. i do it, so i don´t know about online ^^
