International transfer, chance me, help! nervous!

Hi I am an prospective international transfer student to ASU, Heres my stats,

SAT1 : 2200 / 2400 , 1490/1600
SAT2 : MATH LEVEL 2 :670 PHYSICS:720
GPA : 2.5

I realise I have an extremely low gpa but I had an unfortunate accident in the first year really really bad ( i dont mean a medical accident or anything, just something happened) which prevented me from really scoring upto my potential. Do u think ASU will keep this against me?? What chances do I have?? reallly nervous guyzz!!!

You would need to provide more details since your a transfer, (location, amount of hours completed) but this website should be able to help you.

well am from australia…I have completed 48 hours of credit worth of papers, all of them might not be transferrable however. I am looking to major in computer science or computer engineering.

hey guys ?? anyone??

anyone??? :(

The distribution of your grades makes a difference. If you had a semester of really bad grades, followed by two semesters of good ones, that’s better than having a 2.5 all along.
Another factor is whether or not you are full pay.

@^^ thnxs for replying! and no i dint average 2.5 all through the 4 semesters. My first year was bad, but i scored around 3.2 ( approx) for the next 2 semester. I had to undergo counselling etc in my first year to get over the incident.

also i was hoping that ASU’s big acceptance rate might help me considering my SAT scores and high school gpa , is that possible???

and yah because i am an international transfer i dont qualify for federal aid. I am full pay.

*****bump!! can anyone help me???/

can anyone help me plz!! :)
