International transfer help

I am currently a freshman in a 4-year uni and I am an international student . I plan to transfer to the ohio state university after I complete my spring semester . I current have a 4.0 gpa for my fall semester ( took 13 credits ) , and have 15 coming for spring semester. My SAT score was kinda 1200 ish on 1600. I really am unhappy with my current school and I want to transfer asap , but the problem is that my high school in india is extremely uncooperative in providing my HS transcripts . They aren’t willing to mail the transcripts to the uni , as they are unsure of the process , but in the website it is stated that it must be mailed directly by the school . My HS won’t help me in anyway in preparing transcripts , so is it fine if I make some relative make scanned copies of my report card and tell the school to sign and stamp it , seal the envelope and then send it.

I have only a month left to apply , and for transcripts to reach them ?

One more question ? Is it worth the hassle as in , literally waging a war against my HS to deliver my transcripts in a month just to be denied admission . Should I wait in my current uni a bit longer and then apply after a semester ?
HELP !

I am sorry that you have this problem. I don’t see why your HS is so uncooperative…

Anyway, talk to the admission office that your HS is not willing to give you the transcript. Ask them what you can do.

What do you mean that your high school is “unsure of the process”? Did they not send out transcripts last year when you were applying for admission? Whatever they did last year would be what needs to be done this year.

If they don’t want to have to pay the international postage, yes, you can have a family member or friend pay for the shipping.

Yeah, I did talk to them and got it all sorted out. I was just wondering, that the uni wants transcripts directly sent by the highschool. The highschool has agreed to process the trascript, but blatantly denied to send them across internationally. They will be handing sealed envelopes to my relatives, who will courier that internationally. Would that be considered as ’ official ’ ?
