International Transfer Student

Hello Everyone,

I am a student from India currently pursuing 2nd year of my bachelors degree (B.Com). I am seriously considering transferring to a US university/college. I want to know which are the colleges that accept International transfer students and are there any scholarships given out for such students. Timely help would be really helpful.

All UCs accept international transfers. No financial aid is available.

Thanks for the information. Can you tell me, if there are any colleges whose cost does not exceed 15,000 $.

^ You won’t find one, especially in this current budget. Unless you can find a merit-based scholarship, which is also unlikely. You should expect “at least” $30k if you want to study in CA right now as an international student

whoa, holy cow thts some money  I am not only looking at colleges in CA. It can be anywhere, but fits my bill.

Then you might want to check these: [Best College | Search | US News](http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/search.result/outstate+y/tuition-max+20000). Hope that helps ;)

Thank you for the link dude, it worked like a charm. I was finally able to find one college which suits my needs as of now. I hope i don’t have to look beyond this college. Thank you once again for the help, appreciated.

You are always welcome, I’m international too and I used to look up that link a year ago, so yeah… :D

If you have a 3.8+ GPA, High SAT Scores and Great leadership you should definitely try private universities. One I would recommend is Cornell University since they take many transfer comparing to other privates and have generous financial aid packages. Spark boy is right, with this finanical climate it will be very difficult to get some if any aid at all from the UC’s. But I would definitely recommend the private university route.

Cornell University does not have a program in Business Administration for UG, they only have MBA programs. I am currently looking to transfer and graduate with BA major. Do you have any other universities in mind which are transfer-friendly.

university of pennsylvania is also close to cornell in transfer acceptance and the wharton school is business is top class.

University Of Pennsylvania is a big name and as i know, 200 transfer students get selected from lot of 2000 hopefuls. I would like you to tell me, colleges which are good enough for Undergraduates and which give out scholarships for students with GPA over 3.4
