Which colleges have aid for international transfers? Don't mention HYM. Something like Batesw and Colby will do. And which colleges don't look for SAT.

Bump. :(:(:(:(:(:(

Ok, the following are the colleges I'l look into:
1. Bates.
2. Middlebury.
3. Colby.
4. Macalester.
5. Connecticut.
6. Dickinson.
7. Harvard.
8. Colgate.

Suggest any other if you like.

i think even amherst provides aids to international transfers.

Yeah Connecticut and Bates! Both don't require SAT I and are very generous with international aid. I am not sure if that's available for transfers but I'll assume they are. Go check out their respective policies.

Bowdoin doesn't require SATs too, but they are not very fond of international applicants requiring aid I think. Colby is the oddball of the Maine trio that requires SAT I though.

I don't think Amherst takes international transfers, do they? or it might be that they don't give aid to transfers.

Amherst has aid for international transfers. wow. :):):):):):):):)

may peace and happiness prevail. :D:D:D:D:D

''''Is financial aid available for transfers?

Yes. We treat international transfer applicants identically to international first-year applicants.'''

This is what i got from amherst website. they admit even for spring. though you might want to email the school.

Do you know of other colleges that provides financial aid to int transfers?
Is it a good idea to transfer in spring during your first year?

Keeping in mind the SAT scores of 1990 ,distinction in high school 78%, TOEFL- 283 , and of course with more practical point of view......would you give me advice on which colleges I should look for to transfer?......and I seriously need to transfer in a year or 2 as I could'nt strike much luck with the financial aid for this fall.

Which college are you in how much aid do you have? tranferring might not be the smartest thing you are going to do. Just tell us.

Affable You seem to look like a similar case to me. Let's share our experience so that we can get into good colleges with good $$$ together. We are compatriots man.
