Internationals getting in w/ aid... especially to SEAS

Anyone know what the chances of an intl student are getting into Columbia? Especially SEAS? I was wondering if it was harder to get into SEAS than Columbia College because they have different endowments. I heard though, that Columbia is trying to increase the number of internationals and are also trying to get more funding for intels so that soon admissions for internationals will be need blind. Thanks to anyone that can help.

The desire for an increase in international students is more relevant to CC than to SEAS, which has a higher contingent of international students (I believe) already. Still, I'm not sure it would necessarily be easier to get into CC as an international, considering its admissions rate overall is much lower than SEAS'.

What country would you be applying from? That may be a factor.

My app is basically not even that strong for an American citizen, let alone an international requesting aid. Yea, being an international SUCKS. But, I'm not applying from the most represented countries such as Canada, China, Singapore, South Korea. How much will coming from a comparitively less represented country help in getting aid?
