I’m currently a junior and I want to intern at my doctor’s office as I want to go into the medical field. It’s a small family doctor office. Has anyone ever asked their doctor to intern? What has your experience been with this? And how can I go about doing this? Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you!!
If you mean shadowing the doctor that would be problematic as you cannot be aware of any patient information.
@TomSrOfBoston I’m not concerned with how shadowing will work (I understand me and my doctor or whoever will have to work out the logistics) but more concerned about how to go about asking and securing an internship and what I should expect.
