<p>How important is the name of the company where one works as an intern/co-op as a factor in admission to grad school? (Given that the type of work one is given in the smaller/lesser known company matches with your major).</p>

<p>If you can’t get into a well known company, then get into a lesser known company. It’s better than nothing.</p>
