Internship housing in New York City

<p>I will be interning in NYC this summer. I don't know if I should do craigslist or get housing at one of the schools in the area. Last summer two of my friends lived in NYU summer housing but they said their dorm did not have air-conditioning, and it was almost unbearable. And we are from Florida. Hearing this and some of the other complaints, I don't know what to do. I really don't want to sweat just while I am sitting in my room. The city gets pretty hot doesn't it?</p>

<p>Although craigslist can be sketch, I think I will take that route. Any suggestions?</p>

<p>You can buy a small window a/c for the bedroom for $100, or even be lucky enough to find one on the street in NYC.</p>
