Hi, I have several questions about the internship opportunities as a transfer student majoring in economics (or management science, because I will probably change it later on). Since I am accepted as a junior student in the coming fall, will it be tough for me to obtain an internship related to finance? From what I have heard and read, interviews are mostly done in December or January every year, but since I am a transfer student, it seems companies will have difficulties to evaluate my ability based on one quarter of my UCSD's academic result, and two years of my community college's transcript. I am still new, so I am not familiar with the recruitment progress, and therefore, I definitely need some advices.

Furthermore, I am an international student from Hong Kong. Will that influence the result of getting acceptance for internships and offers in the United States? Although my plan is going back to work in the Asian region eventually, I still prefer to develop some oversea working experiences and a decent educational background before heading back. Also, I would like to know about the potential opportunities for investment banking and management consulting as a Triton in the United States.

Last but not least, if you are currently studying in UCSD, please accept my best wishes to your final exams.
