<p>I was wondering how the internship opportunities are at UCSD? Are there a lot of opportunities to serve internships during the breaks? I know that serving internships are important to moving on after graduation and grad schools. If you are a econ major have you had internships? and if so how many? Thanks</p>

<p>Plenty of internship opportunity. Especially if you check port triton or apply to companies online. Kind of wish I was an econ major still with the variety of jobs open to them. GE was hiring like ~1000 of them this year.</p>
<p>Strong students in Economics don’t have a hard time getting internships during undergrad.</p>
