<p>So I know that Boston University is big on internships and coming out college with some work experience is a big decision factor for me. I’m trying to decide between Drexel and BU so I figured I’d try to figure out some info about BU’s internships…</p>
<p>1) When can you start doing internships at BU? Freshman year? No?</p>
<p>2) Are any of the internships paid? BU is expensive…</p>

<p>you can get an internship at any time and point here at BU; however, the chances that you will get an internship as a freshman are unlikely since most employers are looking for sophomores and up. that is not to say that there are none for freshman. it depends on the internship whether it is paid or not. i wouldn’t be picky as a freshman though just because they are harder to come by. start your search early since there will be less for freshman and visit the career center so they can help you with your resume. try to apply to internships through BU since they have connections with certain employers and go to counselors. they are super helpful and can help you focus your search. i dont know if you want to get an internship during the school year since you’ll be adjusting to life here but it is possible. </p>
