Internship

So I am planning on attending a summer internship, but I need to go through an interview, which I am not at all prepared. So what are some questions they usually ask? I'm so confused! Sorry to sound like a newbie.. If I sound like one

I had an internship as a Public Relations intern at a very well known e-retailer this summer. I went in with my camera and even considered bringing a resume, but it turns out they just asked a bunch of questions about what I liked to do and why I would be a good fit for the internship. It was easy and they probably thought I was a bit of an overachiever bringing my camera. :stuck_out_tongue: I can’t say it will be the same for every internship but don’t sweat it. I wore casual clothing and they loved what I was wearing (granted, it was the fashion industry).

It really depends on the internship. When I first applied for my internship on a political campaign, I did a phone interview, but a friend of mine applied for the same internship several months later and had an in-person interview. The questions should be really straightforward: they will probably ask about any previous experience (anything in the field is a plus), as well as experience working with others, that type of thing. Personal organization maybe. Some really basic ones about your schedule. Google “job interview questions” and you’ll probably see most of them. Don’t freak out too much, this isn’t the UChicago supplement, they won’t ask anything weird or try to trick you. They just want to get to know you and find out whether you’re a good fit.
