<p>How easy is it to obtain a congressional internship during the school year while at Georgetown, and do many students do this?</p>
<p>I have one, and it is incredibly easy to get one. Most students in the SFS it seems eventually get one, but most get them in the summer and then move on to better places like the state department and think tanks. Don’t go into a congressional internship thinking you will be doing a lot of substantive work though</p>
<p>Very easy, and many do them, but they are overrated.</p>
