Hi,

Does anyone have any advice for finding an internship as a rising high school senior at a law firm for the summer? Should I just contact a few different ones? Are there any places online where i could find them? I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks

I could use some help on this too.....you might try going through your school if you have a career center or something of that nature. Sometimes they have connections within the community and can set you up with an interview or something. I recently did an internship through the school with a great local lawyer. It was short (that's how the program is set up), but I got to fly down to LA for a mediation and get pretty involved. Otherwise, I'd go with your idea of contacting a few different companies and seeing what they have to offer. A letter might be a good idea.
Also, you might have some luck with Fastweb.com. I haven't had any yet, but maybe you will.

Usually when you register for senior courses you'll get a course catalog from the county...or it will be available in the counselling office. in that there are usually internships you can take the entire school year, and it can be specific as law.

try fastweb.com because it can narrow your search (i think it does time frame, like summer but i'm not 100% positive)... and its not limited to internships but jobs as well
