internships..

okay i have a question for everyone I really want to get an internship this summer but i don't know how to do it or how to find out about what internships there are help!!!!!

The reason why you aren't getting any replies is because you (seemingly) haven't done any research yet.

Employers won't spoon feed you about their company, but you should ask yourself:

Why do you want an internship? Is it the career you have chosen?

Is the internship paid (stipend, hourly), or is it for college credit or pro-bono?

How accessible is the internship? Do you have to commute or is it close by?

Is it a top-tier internship, like those of Investment Banks, Consulting Firms, or Defense Contracting?

Some resources for finding internships, besides these forums are:

Monster.com - Go to find jobs, type in "intern" and select your region.

Craigslist - http://craigslist.org - Select your region, click on Jobs, and check the "internship" box.

Oodle.com - A spin of Craigslist, it has internships as well.

Read up on Vault.com for Industry explanations. Your local library or Barnes & Noble will have internship information.

Ways of doing it:

Go through your college's career center.

Go through your high school's career center.

Cold-call companies near you: Show up with a r
