Hi,
I have four, yes four internships, this summer for a congressman, two senators, and a lobbyist in Washington D.C. Will this be a big plus on college apps, or just a plus, or none at all? THANKS!

Hello???????????

?????????????????????????????

Oh for goodness sake.

What? Can I get an answer?

i am interning for a congressman this summer. I hope it help :)

Which one?

How Do U Guys Get These Internships

Connections and a solid resume. I have already had two internships when I was in 9th grade, so that helped.

i am interning for Tom Price from Georgia. I just sent a lot of people my resume.

Sweet. I will be with Rep. Pitts from Pennsylvania, and Sens. Judd Gregg and Rick Santorum.

where do you go searching for internships? Back of the newspaper(lol)?

Internships with politicians needs connections no matter what anyone says

No. None at all. Please tread carefully, political internships can really sour one application over another. Especially if you go against the adcom's political affiliations.

I hope you are being sarcastic. Hahahaha. Yes, connections are a must.

Good luck at them, one kid at my school interned for Tom DeLay, but I think he's going to UT:Austin, like everyone else at my school. It can't mess up your application, honestly. Why would you even think it could?

honestly, i had absolutely no connections, i hadn't even heard of the guy. I just had a lot of GOP campaign experience and showed a lot of interest.

do they usually post the need for interns or do u pretty much hae to look around and find one

is intern kinda like volunteer work do u get paid
