Interview, AM I SCREWED?

SO, my interviewer told me to call him back. and he didn't pick up so i left a message. i accidentally called him a different name, but then i quickly realized and called him the right name.

do i have like absolutely no chance now, even though i didn't have any before?

He’ll probably find it offensive. How that would affect his evaluation of you is entirely dependent on how professional he is.

Don’t worry! A) There is nothing you can do about it now (you can’t change the message); B) no school would base your chances of getting in entirely on a verbal slip-up, or even if that did negatively impact his overall perception (which I doubt), an interview report. Seriously, there are way more important things to stress over.

All that, and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to make a much better impression when you have the actual interview  Best of luck

How did you correct yourself on the phone?

Example 1: John–oops, Tom
Example 2: John–S*** my bad, Tom
Example 3: John–Oh Em Gee, my bad dude, Tom
Example 4: John–Oh F**, Tom

Just wondering…

^lol…!!!

People stress far too much about silly little things here. You just made a tiny slip of the tongue/mind. Forget it, maybe mention it in the interview and apologise but honestly, it will make no difference.

I’m not sure if this is serious or not. ■■■■■■■■ is sometimes hard to detect here…

i think the class on '15 should spend all their 4 years of college on finding a fool-proof system to detect ■■■■■■ on CC. whatchu guys thinkin?
