Do you guys ever get the feeling that you portrayed yourself as "overly confident"?

I didn't boast or anything, but I felt like I dominated too much of the conversation in the beginning. At the end of the interview, it mellowed down and it became more of a relaxed dialogue, but I still felt a bit like I was talking too much about me?

What do you guys think? Any interviewers on CC who might have gotten a bad impression of an applicant like this before?

The interview is your time to shine and to talk about yourself. Unless you were truly an obnoxious braggart saying things like, "I am the greatest" throughout the interview, your doing the majority of the talking is a plus.

Others can also prepare themselves by having a short list of good questions to ask the admission rep about the college (not dumb questions that they could get the answer to off the internet, but thoughtful quesions about the college - something that shows you have done your homework and know a lot about the college but that you are looking for just a bit more information.)
