Interview By Phone?

<p>My interview took place over the phone. I have never heard of this! It was horrible, I was in the middle of writing a paper and he caught me completely off guard. The interview went reasonably well, but I had no time at all to prepare or think how I might answer questions. I’m sure I sounded so nervous. I forgot why I applied to Brown AND a lot of my ECs. Hopefully, he’ll realize he caught me unprepared. But then again, I’ve been reading that Brown interviews don’t really matter anyways.</p>

<p>Are phone interviews a common practice for Brown? I found mine to be a pretty uncomfortable experience.</p>

<p>that's what mine was like. It's ok, it's not the major part of your application anyway.</p>

<p>Yeah, and it probably benefitted you anyway. Interviewers can sense when you've rehearsed your answers.</p>

<p>an alumus called my house, but luckily i wasnt home. now, i have time to prepare, and then i will call him back.</p>
