Interview evaluation (s)

Has anyone's child had an interview, they thought went poorly--but were accepted, or an interview they thought went well, but their child was not accepted? Just curious--How can you "tell" if an interview went well, or not so well?

My d had both situations. I think that what is most important is what your child says, and I am not always sure a kid (or adult) know what is good or bad.

One interview my daughter left and said that the AO “hated her” and the interview was extremely short. When I spoke to the AO she seemed almost uninterested (found out later she was exhausted). My d was accepted with a great FA package. One of my d’s favorite places, where she thought the interview was “one of her best”, didnt take her. Later we realized that the school did the best thing and didnt accept her because it wouldnt have been the right place for her.

I think it is impossible to draw a direct line from interview to acceptance, mostly due to the fact that so many pieces play into the acceptance.
