The usual questions tend to be why Yale and just talking about your hobbies, extracurricular activities, classes, etc. For most people is just a relaxing conversation between you and the Alumni. Don't "prep" too much and walk into the conversation with formulated answers because the alum is sure to pick up on it.

Just relax, be yourself, and everything should go fine. At my interview, my alum pretty much said that the interview is just to filter out those who are dull and boring with no personality that wouldn't do much but study. But on the same token, they're looking to pick up on the few rare students who have a lot to offer that normally wouldn't come off in the essays, transcripts, etc.

When I had it in November, my interviewer just asked me questions like why yale?, what are your interests?, etc.

It isnt really something you need to prep for...just be prepared to talk about yourself. The most common question I had was "What else do you do?"

If you're really really paranoid, here's a list of the questions he asked me (excluding follow-up questions)...why do i remember this?...o, right, b/c yale was my dream school.
What do you want to major in?
Why Yale?
Tell me about yourself?
Do you play any sports?
What are your favorite classes? least favorite?
What are you most involved with?
What other things do you do outside of school?
Any hobbies?
What else do you do?
Anything else?
Do you have any questions for me?

basically just come prepared with a bunch of stuff you do outside of school...
