I requested an interview and it specifically says that if you don’t follow up on an interview offer, it will hurt your chances. It The dean has also said designated interest, visits, interviews, etc are very important in weeding out applicants. I couldn’t visit the campus, and I’m very anxious because it’s been 3 weeks and I’ve heard nothing re: a interview. Should I follow up?
has anyone heard from kenyon re:interviews?
Of course you should follow up. I believe that Kenyon does take into account your level of interest. My daughter
interviewed at a venue in NYC that Kenyon had set up. We were also able to get out there to visit but only after the ED deadline.
I requested an interview through the application status portal. I hadn’t heard back by last Friday, so I emailed my admissions officer and just asked if they’d sent out assignments and whatnot. My interviewer actually ended up emailing me a few hours later, and we set up a time to meet this weekend at a coffee shop. My admissions officer emailed me back this past Monday, and she had reached out to another alum in the Dallas area, gave me their contact info, and said that they’d be happy to meet with me. I would definitely email your admissions officer if you haven’t heard about an interview! I got an email from someone in the admissions office with my interviewers contact info, and I had to email her directly.
