Interview Thing

Hi everyone,

I'm sure you guys hear this a lot, but...how important is the interview? I had it about a month ago, but my EC never sent the report. I called him a few weeks ago to remind him and he said he would send everything the same day. However, it seemed that he forgot again -_-. I filled the "conducted interview" link on MyMit, but i was wondering how they would view my "strange" situation. O, btw, a friend of mine living in the same area is facing the same problem. I guess our EC is just...too busy..Should i do anything else? or will the adcoms know that i tried my best?

I'm in the same situation, except that my interview was originally waived. It wasn't that great so I didn't bother with it :)

it's not your fault that your interviewer submits the report late. what's important is that you done the interview on time, and did some follow-up soon after. Once you fill up the conducted interview form, you've done all you can. my interviewer took 2 months to submit the report.

"how important is the interview?"

They say it's not required and it can in no way work against you.

But somewhere I read that the admit rate of those who interview is 22% and those who don't interview is 9%.

So, if you actually put in the time and effort to have an interview, make sure it gets submitted.
