Does anyone know any good advice for interviews? For example what to wear, questions, comments, etc. Also include information about the tour.

make sure you have things to ask your interviewer - things about the school that can’t be answered by googling the school, etc.

like what?

questions about sports, etc… questions that you may come up with along the way.

also, be as personable as possible. don’t hide in the corner and barely open your mouth. engage in conversation about something.

bumb…

Kay, firstly, there’s no reason to be nervous, if you are.
Next is clothes. So check the weather for interview-day. Dress accordingly to the weather – it doesn’t really matter what you wear as long as they’re in good repair (e.g. no ripped pants) and a bit formal. I’d recommend against wearing jeans. What I wore was a v-neck sweater, lacy tank inside, dress pants, and boots. It was kinda cold that day. I saw other girls wear a cardigan with a pretty tank inside and skirts, blouse & dress pants, just anything nice.
Like puppylvr said, ask good questions. For example (just an example, i’m not recommending any questions for you to ask)
Don’t ask:
“What’s the student-teacher ratio?”
Do ask:
“How does the student-teacher ratio affect the school? What effects have you seen?”

Just absorb the school in your tour. You should be comfortable during the tour, be friendly with the tour guide – he/she’s just a couple years older than you. Don’t be afraid to ask things like “So why did you choose (so-and-so school)?”

http://www.andover.edu/Admission/DeansJournal/Pages/TheCampusVisit.aspx <– the dean of admissions from Andover talks about the tour and interview. :)

I think it helps if you practice with a sibling or friend too before the interview. Practicing helped me.
