I have an interview tomorrow and my interviewer hasnt replied if it was formal or casual wear! He also didn't say what he looked like so I could identify him. What to do?

Mine didn't tell me what to wear. I wore a polo and some slacks and she said it was fine. No jeans or tshirts, just dress nice. Be sure to bring questions if you have any, Rice's interview is basically your time to sell yourself and ask anything you want.

if you want to really impress your interviewer, wear a shirt and a tie. i wore it and my interviewer fell in love with me... literally

My interviewer told me to meet at this library. I sat down in a SUIT so he assumed I was who he was interviewing haha.

I didn't want to be too formal but not too casual. So I wore some black dress pants and a nice collared shirt. I thought that was a nice mix between super formal to the point of awkwardness and being too casual.

My Interview:

Interviewer: Tell me about yourself.

Me: talks for thirty minutes straight

Interviewer: Do you have any questions about Rice?

Me: Question

Interviewer: Talk for 10 minutes.

Me: Question 2

Interviewer: Talk for another 10 minutes.

Me: Question 3

and so on and so forth...

I hate the "tell me about yourself" question haha

my interviewer said to wear "school clothes" because i met him on a school day. I came in wearing a suit lol.

But we have a great relationship

Mine was actually fun. We hardly talked about Rice, but instead the conversation just flowed about personal stuff. No stuffy questions. Good luck I'm sure you will do fine.

Good luck, spaz! Let us know how it goes.

It went great! no awkward moments at all. Interviewer was pretty funny and mentioned he was a slacker in high school lol...and then talked about the upperclassmen pranks that were thrown on the freshman.
