interview + why georgetown?

I am just preparing for my interview on Tue...I actually was supposed to have the interview last week but I was really busy studying for my sat subject test and doing lots of hw + projects...I called up my interviewer and left a message saying that I was busy...now I regret b/c you never say that you are busy for a college interview!? anyway, I am preparing for my interview and was wondering what you guys like the most and least about georgetown...?

thanks for your help!

well, it was one of the essay questions on the app, sort of. =P and if you applied to georgetown you certainly must know why you did! lol

i just wanted more insight...

i have never visited the campus...but is it nice over there?

VERY nice, there's a thread on this topic i believe it's "what's the campus like" or somewhere along those lines.

I think people worry too much about the interview. Yeah it's important and you want to impress your interviewer but unless your interview is with an admissions director and not an alumni don't be too stressed about it. I just had mine today and my interviewer was really cool. We met at a Starbucks and it was really relaxed and I learned a lot about the school from someone who went there. Remember that this is an opportunity for you to learn about the school as well and not just for them to grill you with questions.

i agree w/ kevin. don't worry about the interview! if yours is anything like mine, it will actually be a bit enjoyable. my interviewer was a doctor--and it was obvious he was long out of georgetown--but he still knew a lot about it. he even told me to contact him if i needed any more help w/ the app process, and that i should squeeze gu for as much financial aid as possible if i got in. i think these people interview b/c they like it. and it's easier to bs hard questions like "why georgetown" when you're talking as opposed to writing.

you'll be fine! ;)
