<p>The interview is informational and <em>optional</em>. It is a good experience and the interviewer will add observations and details to your application, but it will not hurt your chances if you do not have an interview.</p>

<p>There has been a large number of requests submitted for alumni interviews and the staff is still trying to sort through them. They expect to have responded to all requests by next Monday. If you do not hear anything, then you can contact the Alumni interview coordinators at <a href="mailto:NASC@jhu.edu">NASC@jhu.edu</a>. </p>
<p>The last day for regular decision applicants to request an off-campus alumni interview is December 1st. </p>
<p>And no, having an interview or not having an interview will not have any affect on the way your application is reviewed. Interviews are optional and non-evaluative, they are informational conversations.</p>
