<p>Is it sign of being a "good" or "bad" applicant if you don't get contacted for an interview? 6 people from my school applied, and 2 have had interviews. No one else, including myself, has heard from them about one. Dartmouth says that not having one will not negatively impact one's chances, but is them contacting you or not an indication of how they see you as an applicant? (Also, one of the two who did have one put his application in only about a week before the RD deadline, so I don't think that the timing of when they were sent in makes a difference).</p>
<p>No it does not mean they are not interested. It probably means that the interviewers are swamped and just couldn't get to everyone.</p>
