Ahh, kind of nervous for this! What do I wear? What am I asked? How long is it?

The answers to all of those questions vary by interviewer.

Wear whatever will make you feel slightly dressed up, but still comfortable -- what that means is different for different people. If you normally wear jeans and t-shirts, you might consider wearing a button-down shirt or a sweater; if you normally dress up more than that, you might consider a shirt and tie or a sweater and skirt. But it's all dependent on what you will feel comfortable and professional in.

Don't be nervous! I just had mine on Friday. I was nervous until I sat down and we started talking-it REALLY is just a conversation, no pressure. My interviewer was really really nice and to be honest, we didn't even talk about MIT all that much. We talked about myself and my life and her life and her kids and baseball and politics, but nothing to be nervous about. Mine was about an hour, I'm guessing they're all somewhere around there.

It should be a pretty chill conversation(30 minutes - 1 hour).

I'm an EC, and I answer these questions every year. I hope to post a better response tomorrow, but I am seriously pressed for time right now, but if you search for my posts, you will see a variety of Interview tips (including what to wear).

Thanks, Mikalye!
