Interviews for Hong Kong ED applicants?

I applied for Brown ED (2016). I know two Columbia ED applicants, and a UPenn ED applicant that got interviews already.

Does anyone know when Brown offers interviews for Hong Kong applicants? Do they even do so?

It depends entirely on the availability of alumni close enough to the applicant to make interviewing feasible. Brown interviews as many applicants as possible, including international applicants. I was interviewed by Brown when I was in Brussels for high school.

There are international chairs assigned to many overseas areas. I don’t know if there is one that covers Hong Kong, but I do know a current student from there who I think had an alumni interview. Sometimes international interviews are done via Skype if there is no one local, but someone willing to interview “that area”. I know there are some interviews not assigned in areas still.

I’m a Brown ED from HK as well and I haven’t got an interview yet either. There apparently does exist a Brown Alumni Association for Hong Kong (I just found it on google).

I guess we should just wait and see?

^ Yup. If Brown can interview you, they will.
