INTERVIEWS--have I waited too long?

<p>I'm applying RD to 11 schools, mostly small LACs, but I haven't yet had an interview at a single one. I want to do interviews at all but UVM and I'm confident I'd do fine. I live in Upstate NY, so I'd have to do mostly alumni interviews. Is it OK that I'll have so many interviews to do after I send in my applications? Will it be possible?</p>

<p>Well, why not, here's my list: Yale, Pomona, Swarthmore, Haverford, Wesleyan, Oberlin, Middlebury, Macalester, Wash U in St Louis, Grinnell, UVM.</p>

<p>Actually for most colleges, the interview is optional. Also, for off-campus alumni interviews, they should contact you after you submit your application; you usually don’t contact them. I applied to Yale EA and received an email from my interviewer about a month later.</p>
