Interviews,

i'm doing the interview wednesday, just wondering what do they ask you ... also should i wear a nice jacket or something ?

I was so tempted to enter my interview briefcase in hand and tie perfectly knotted---I wore my favorite shirt, jeans and my favorite sandals. Not that a suit and tie are bad but I wanted to wear what I am most comfortable in and show who I really am. If suit and tie is you, by all means. Was my own decision a bad choice? I don't think so at all for our conversation--which it was rather than a stingy interview--was fantastic. Treat it as you are sitting down with an old friend and talking about yourself, your loves and your accomplishments and what you personally want to achieve through MIT; that is what he or she is going to want to know. At least, that's where our conversation went. Show who you are not what you can dress up as.

Be yourself!

I showed up in a hoody and a pair of jeans with a hole on one knee. Btw, saliksyed, I read somewhere that you like skateboarding. Where are you from? I'm from NJ and I skate too. It would be rad if MIT had a skateboarding club; newburyport looks like a pretty righteous park.

You don't even need to leave campus; I've seen people on skateboards in the Infinite.

haha yes i do lol... i stopped tho ... I will re-start in college (for transport purposes) i'm gonna get a long board tho
