Interviews

i doubt many of you guys are from Lexington KY, but if you are (and assuming you already had an interview), which interviewer would you recommend? i have no idea who to choose right now...they're all just names on a list:(. i'm a relatively shy person so i guess i would prefer a woman, and i should ask for somebody who went to the college i'm applying to right? (art/sci) so that narrows the choice down to just 1 person actually, but she's very young (graduated in 2004) and i tend to do better talking with older people. there is a guy who's also from the college of arts/sci but he graduated in 1997. should i ask for him? what are your impressions of young vs. old interviewers? this will be my first interview, so any advice would help:)

thanks in advance~!!

im a guy...mine was a young woman who lives in my town. easy to set up a meeting, she was very relavant, and it worked out well--like talking to a friend.

how do u set up an interview?

After applying, you will receive an email with a password and username. After loging in, you click on your state and then a list of people, the year they graduated, the school they graduated from, their location, and their email.

ok....how late after u apply do you get this email?

not very late...about 2 weeks afterwards i think? (i applied in late Dec.)

I applied with the first part of the common app by Oct. 31 and received the email Nov. 2

i sent my application on December 30th and the university received my transcripts and recommendations on the 5th of January. I received my mail on the 10th of January.

So it wont be too long after you have applied.
