Interviews

I'm deciding whether to sign up last minute for an on campus interview, as opposed to the usual alumni interview. Do you know whether current students or admissions officers usually conduct the on campus interviews? And, does anyone have any tips or hints for either interview setting?

i dont think there are any on campus interviews left

Students do the on-campus interviews.

Whiteee, I'm going to bump one of my threads up for you on interviews. I think it's called "RD Applicants: Interview Advice". It should answer most questions about alumni interviews. If you have further questions, please put them on the end of that thread.

Question...

my interviewer decided he wanted to come TO MY HOUSE. Is that strange?

definitely unusual, as interviews go in general, but you can't say no, so you're stuck with it, I guess. I personally think it's bad form for an interviewer to invade one's home, but that's just me....

should I worry that I haven't gotten an interview contact yet, when I submitted my app in the first week of October?
Thanks in advance....

were you EA? My daughter hasn't heard either, she submitted early Oct, but she applied RD, so may not be a good comparison for you.

I applied EA

But I live in the suburbs of Chicago
so maybe that's why???
I wish I cold know, because I really want to get an interview, if only to comfort me that I put forth all that I could for this...

rockthwer22--Read my thread title "RD Applicants: Interview Advice". It will explain how interviews are assigned. I'm not surprised you haven't been contact. If you have any more questions, add it to the end of that thread so all interview-related Q & As can be in one place. I'm bumping the thread for you.
