<p>How do interviews for transfer applicants work?</p>
<p>Do colleges usually conduct them? If so, are they usually set-up by the school or is it recommended that the applicant contact the school to request an interview?</p>
<p>Ive never seen a school that you need to do an interview as a transfer. Interviews are when you get to your graduate programs.</p>
<p>I'm applying to transfer to Barnard, Northwestern and Macalester, I know that all of them do NOT offer interviews as part of the application process for transfers- which is probably the dumbest thing i've ever heard. since, people are completely different in person than on paper and why would they not want to get to know students- plus the transfer applicatn pool is much smaller and they wouldn't neccessairily be inundated with requets for them, but i think they should at least make it an option. yeesh.</p>
