<p>I was just wondering if interviews are necessary for the schools I'm applying for. I am planning on interviewing for Carnegie Mellon, Tufts, Case Western, and URochester. (Rochester you need to interview for merit aid). Have any of you been admitted to these schools without interviewing? Does interviewing improve your chances, even if you don't necessarily do well with interviews?</p>
<p>I'm also applying to the following schools, which I believe do not require interviews: UMich, UIllinois, Penn State, Northwestern, Cornell, Lehigh. Am I correct that these schools don't require interviews?</p>
